History
In 2006 at Obey Clothing I was employee number ten, or so, when hired, with only two of us handling all accounting/administrative/etc... tasks needed in the office. By the time I left, Obey was a giant worldwide known enterprise, and still growing. When hired at Volcom we had about 40 to 60+ employees, and quite quickly I went from warehouse, to operations, to accounting department, answering directly to the CFO and Controller. Growth went quickly, and a few years later Volcom went public. When I started at Cohn + Wolfe as a public relations account executive, we had been recently acquired, and were growing and adapting to new business structures. Although I graduated from UCLA with the intent to become a journalist, and with my minor in accounting, I've always been drawn to small business, and early on was infatuated with how to grow a business soundly; with good processes that will uphold growth, and seek to limit the strain on capital.
Always learning in these environments of business growth, and especially seeing the financial instruments and implications from inside the accounting departments of these fast growing companies I got the chance to be a part of, made me eager to cultivate my own business, and to share and partner with other entrepreneurs. I believe that effectively intersecting my expertise with a client's respective interests and passion, is what can make business thrive. Helping to streamline and automate processes in a company, in order to drive it's growth, and eventually make myself as obsolete as possible, is the sustainable growth I hope to impart to every client. The more capital we can free up, the more they can invest in their business, or back in themselves. I love to help, and implement solutions and software integrations that will make mine, or other administrative jobs within the business, disappear.
Adventureish Consulting, LLC opened its doors in 2010. Since then, I have helped entrepreneur's gestating ideas become established companies, and helped many others streamline, save, and automate their operations, and establish good bookkeeping practices. Whether by staying on in a consultant, bookkeeping, administrative capacity, or completely making myself obsolete, in order to free up capital for other investment in the company, my goal is always to partner with you, and to consult, in order to help you grow, and save/make money.
